We’re incredibly lazy when it comes to maintenance, and whilst we have the basics down, any ‘extra work’ seems un likely.

But when founder of @79luxskincare, Karen Cummings-Palmer, introduced us to her new, ridiculously luxurious body scrub, we decided there perhaps was room for a little addition.

We thought Karen couldn’t improve the softness of our skin, having been converts of her other body products, but we were amazed to see the instant polished appearance of our legs and body after a wonderful scrub in the shower.

This fabulous pot is full of Himalayan Salt, Sugar, Grape Seed, Rose, Aloe Vera and Jasmine, that not only leaves you silky soft, but smelling delicious too.

It does help that the packing is incredibly chic, AND kind to our planet.

These days with age not on our side, we’re always looking for treatments that don’t involve injectables so were delighted to discover @rechargerooms @thelaslett .
I was spoilt with the wonderful hands of Reema, who introduced me to my customised MesoJet facial.
This was a two pronged approach which began with the MesoJet radio waves, which heats the tissue and triggers the process of regeneration, stimulating collagen and elastin production, which smooths out wrinkles.
Then the MesoJet, with its needle free infusion technology, allows the skin to be temporarily permeable to let the skin have rejuvenating vitamins, acids and peptides to be pushed deeper, up to 4mm under the skin.
My face was lifted and glowing.

During this strange year we’ve developed a few habits that perhaps aren’t in the best interests of our health. One of mine was alcohol consumption. Lockdowns meant that I felt I needed a drink every night, as a reward for getting through the day. But as any wise man will tell you, it's easier to replace a habit than break a habit.

When the gorgeous Tracy Lowry, @thelaslett introduced me to Mikhail, founder of Notting Hills most fabulous addition, @rechargerooms I knew I would be in for something special.

Tucked away in this chic hotel is where Mikhail has created his unique vision of Wellness. Not since I called New York home, have I found a creator who really seems to embody the mood of the future. Mikhail is passionate about what he has created - a Wellness boutique that has cutting edge treatments to strengthen immunity, boost energy levels and stimulate brain activity.

For my introduction I began with the Ozone Sauna, a capsule in which you recline whilst it heats up, and carbon dioxide gas is infused. This is then removed and in comes the ozone gas. The heating of the capsule ensures this is absorbed into the body. This process detoxifies the body to a cellular level by using ozone, oxygen, infrared, steam, carbonic acid, electrotherapy, photon light and aroma therapies.

Other than being incredibly relaxing (as oxygen is blown in my face), it improves lymph and blood circulation, and enhances organ functionality - including production of hormones and enzymes and reduces stress and anxiety, (which helps with immunity).
